UFI has worked with Oxford Economics to calculate the total global economic impact of exhibitions regionally and globally. The results of this first-ever research were published in April 2019.
UFI Member Associations can request individual country profile reports, and several national reports have been produced since: the economic impact of exhibitions in the UK (October 2019 and October 2023), the economic impact of exhibitions in Spain (June 2020), the economic impact of exhibitions in Thailand (June 2022) and the economic impact of exhibitions in Greece (February 2024).
The key results from those studies that were conducted up to 2022 can be found in Section 4 of the updated 2022 edition of the UFI report.
