A strong message, that highlights the willingness of a sector to start again. One month away from #GED2020, AEFI raises its voice with an emotional video to describe, in the silence of the cities, Italian talent and work, singing to the world the desire to start again.
This year AEFI has chosen to celebrate the fifth Global Exhibitions Day by interpreting the message “Exhibitions are the key to rebuilding economies” through two videos. The first - online from 1 May - is “Voce dal Cielo” and describes the pride of a country that has done and knows how to do extraordinary things and the willingness of the Exhibitions to start again and be the voice and vehicle of Made in Italy the world over.

Exhibitor education is a proven approach to accomplishing this goal, however many event organizers aren’t taking full advantage of it (and some aren’t incorporating it at all). This webinar will list relevant statistics to help you justify exhibitor education, introduce fresh education formats that you may not have considered yet, and outline simple steps for choosing the most helpful topics for your exhibitors.

RAI Amsterdam focuses on sustainability on Global Exhibitions Day

RAI Amsterdam marked Global Exhibitions Day on Wednesday 4 June by sharing tips with organisers on how to make their events more socially relevant. As the RAI’s CSR Manager Stephanie Mathas explains in the latest RAI blog, events often have more value than is immediately obvious: knowledge, space and materials can be used to greater effect than planned, without large additional investments. Consciously looking for issues that are relevant to society as a whole and responding to them with an event can have a far greater positive impact.

Organisers who consider their event in a broad perspective will have a significant social impact outside their immediate target groups. The results are good for the world while also resulting in additional appreciation from all stakeholders. This in turn is beneficial to the continuity of an event and often provides new ways of looking at things, further enriching the content.
